Our Studio Policy

1) Accounts & Access 

To access certain features of the Site or Facilities, you must create an account and set a password. Provide accurate and complete information, keep your credentials confidential, and you are responsible for all activity on your account. Do not share your account or use another person’s account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use. 

Creating or maintaining multiple accounts (including with different names, emails, phone numbers, or addresses) to obtain discounts, promotions, or other benefits is prohibited. We may cancel/merge such accounts and/or charge fees at our discretion. 

2) Eligibility 

Participation is open to individuals aged 13+. If you are under the age of majority in Ontario (18), a parent or legal guardian must consent and will be bound by this Agreement. 

3) Attendance & Punctuality 

Studio doors lock 5 minutes after the scheduled class start. Late arrivals after the door locks will not be admitted, will forfeit the class, and will be treated as No-Shows. 

4) Booking, Cancellation, Membership & Fee Rules 

Bookings: Reserve classes through our website or mobile app. 

Membership cancellation: Minimum three (3) consecutive months initial commitment. After the initial term, cancel by emailing info@corsomovement.ca at least four (4) weeks before your desired cancellation date with your name, membership ID, and effective date. 

Membership pauses: After the initial term, you may request a pause of 1–3 weeks, up to three (3) times in any 12-month period, with at least four (4) months between pauses. Email your request 14 days before the desired pause start date. 

Class cancellations & No-Shows: 

≥ 12 hours before class: no fee. 

< 12 hours before class: late-cancel fee CAD $15. 

No-Show: the class is forfeited and a CAD $15 no-show fee applies.  

5) Payments & Refunds 

Final sale (services): All purchases including drop-ins, class packs, memberships, gift cards, and similar services are final sale, non-refundable, and non-transferable. Passes and memberships expire as stated at purchase. Gift cards are not redeemable for cash unless required by law. Prices are subject to applicable HST. 

Payment authorization: By providing payment information (e.g., credit card), you authorize us to charge applicable one-time or recurring fees. 

Price changes: We may adjust pricing/fees at any time. Where required by law, we will provide advance notice and an opportunity to cancel before changes take effect. 

Merchandise returns: Unused, regular-priced merchandise may be returned within 7 days of purchase for a refund to the original payment method(s). Receipt required. Items purchased on sale or at a discount are final sale (no returns/exchanges). 

6) Code of Conduct 

Treat instructors, staff, and fellow clients with respect. Harassment, hate speech, intimidation, unsafe conduct, or disruption may result in immediate removal and suspension or termination of membership without refund. 

7) Media Release & Client Filming 

Corso Movement may, from time to time, capture ambient photo or video in public studio areas to document classes and studio life. Any content published will be de-identified unless written consent is provided.

Filming and photography in changing rooms or washrooms is strictly prohibited.

Other participants may capture content for personal use; obtaining consent from anyone they record is their responsibility. Corso Movement is not responsible for third-party distribution or use of third-party recordings. 

8) Privacy & Health-Data Consent 

To tailor instruction and support safety, we may record voluntary injury or health disclosures. Such data are processed and stored by Mariana Tek on secure servers in the United States (SOC 2 Type II). 

You consent to cross-border transfer and to our retaining such data for up to seven (7) years, after which it will be securely deleted or anonymized. 

Collection, use, and disclosure of personal information are governed by our Privacy Policy. Questions: info@corsomovement.ca. 

9) Electronic Communications 

You consent to receive electronic communications from us, including transactional emails and promotional messages. Standard messaging/data rates may apply. 

10) Studio Policies 

No in-and-out / re-entry: Re-entry is not permitted for Reformer Room or Mat Room classes. 

Instructor changes: We may substitute or change instructors at any time without prior notice. 

Pricing changes: Membership pricing may change with 30 days’ notice to active members. 

Mandatory reformer orientation (first-time participants): A machine orientation 5 minutes before class is required for your first reformer class. 

If you arrive before the door locks but miss the orientation, you may participate at your own risk and release Corso Movement from liability related to lack of orientation. 

If you arrive after the 5-minute door lock or do not attend, you may not participate and will be charged the late-cancellation fee. 

11) Dispute Resolution; Governing Law 

This Agreement is governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. 

Before court proceedings (except for injunctive relief), the parties will attempt good-faith mediation (virtually or in Toronto) for 30 days. 

Where permitted by law, disputes must be brought on an individual basis; jury trials and class actions are waived. 

Venue lies exclusively in the courts of Ontario, unless consumer-protection legislation requires otherwise. 

12) Modifications 

We may amend these Terms by emailing notice to the address on file at least 30 days before the effective date. Continued use of the Site or Facilities after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
