Our Studio Policy

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY. BY PURCHASING OUR MEMBERSHIPS, CLASS PACKS, CREDITS, OR ATTENDING ANY EVENTS HELD AT CORSO MOVEMENT (OR CLICKING “I AGREE”), YOU AGREE TO OUR STUDIO POLICIES AND TERMS OF SERVICE.

TERMS OF SERVICE

1.1 Eligibility

Participation is open to individuals aged fourteen (14) years or older. If under the legal age of majority (eighteen in Ontario), a parent or legal guardian must sign and will be bound by this Agreement.

1.2 Attendance & Punctuality

Studio doors are locked five (5) minutes after the scheduled class start. Participants arriving after the door is locked will not be admitted and will forfeit the class without refund or credit.

1.3 Booking, Cancellation, Membership & Fee Rules

(a) All class reservations must be made through the Studio website or mobile application.
(b) Membership cancellation: A minimum initial commitment of three (3) consecutive months applies. After that term, I may cancel by sending written notice to info@corsomovement.ca at least four (4) weeks before the desired cancellation date.
(c) Membership pause: Upon completion of the initial term, I may request to pause my membership for a period of one (1) to three (3) weeks, not more than three (3) times in any twelve-month period, with at least four (4) months between pauses. Written request must be submitted at least seven (7) days before the desired pause start date.
(d) Class cancellation: I may cancel a reserved class without penalty if notice is received twelve (12) hours or more before class time. Cancellations within twelve (12) hours incur a late-cancel fee of CAD $20. Failure to attend without cancellation results in forfeiture of the class credit plus a CAD $20 no-show fee.

1.4 Payment & Refund Policy

All purchases, including drop-ins, class packs, memberships, and gift cards, are final sale, non-refundable, and non-transferable. Gift cards are not redeemable for cash except where required by law. Passes and memberships expire as stated at purchase. Prices include applicable HST and may be changed on thirty (30) days’ prior e-mail notice.

1.5 Code of Conduct

Participants must behave respectfully toward instructors, staff, and fellow clients. Harassment, hate speech, intimidation, or conduct deemed unsafe by staff will result in immediate removal and may result in suspension or termination of membership without refund.

1.6 Media Release

I grant the Studio a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to photograph, film, or otherwise record my image, voice, or likeness during Activities and to use such recordings for promotional, instructional, or archival purposes in any media. I understand that other participants may also record content for personal use; obtaining consent from anyone captured in such recordings is that participant’s responsibility. Corso Movement is not liable for third-party distribution.

1.7 Privacy & Health-Data Consent

To tailor instruction and for safety, the Studio may record voluntary injury or health disclosures. Such data are processed and stored by Mariana Tek on secure servers located in the United States (SOC-2 Type II). By agreeing, I explicitly consent to the cross-border transfer and to the Studio retaining such data for up to seven (7) years, after which they will be securely deleted or anonymized. Collection, use, and disclosure of all personal information are further governed by the Studio’s Privacy Policy.

1.8 Electronic Communications

I consent to receive electronic communications from the Studio, including transactional e-mails and promotional messages, and acknowledge that standard messaging or data rates may apply.

1.9 Dispute Resolution; Governing Law

(a) This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
(b) The parties shall attempt good-faith mediation, virtually or in Toronto, for thirty (30) days before commencing court proceedings, except where injunctive relief is sought.
(c) Where permitted by law, disputes must be brought on an individual basis; jury trials and class actions are waived.
(d) Venue lies exclusively in the courts of Ontario unless consumer-protection legislation requires otherwise.

1.10 Modifications

The Studio may amend these Terms of Service by e-mailing notice to the address on file at least thirty (30) days before the effective date. Continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
